Requirements

Duration: 1 - 10 minutes.

-Technical Requirements: We expect you to skillfully integrate AI technology into your short films, whether in terms of narrative techniques, image aesthetics, visual effects, or sound creation. A short written description of the AI technology used in your work is required at the time of submission.

-Thematic Freedom: This section encourages you to freely explore the intersection of technology and art, and to create works of depth and significance from contemporary society, culture, or your own unique perspective.

-Eligibility: Young filmmakers from around the world. We encourage you with innovative thinking and experimental spirit to get your hands on AI to realize your creativity. Whether you are a student, an independent filmmaker or an AI technology enthusiast, as long as you are passionate about combining AI and film art, you are welcome to join us.

Platform Support

-Exhibition and communication: Excellent works will have the opportunity to be screened at the Beijing International Film Festival and communicate with world-renowned directors, producers and industry experts.

-Creation guidance: We will provide professional AI technical support and creation guidance to help your movie creation.

-Special Selection: Best Film, Best Creativity, Best Art Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Popularity.

Requirements

The works should be completed after June 1, 2022

The length of the work should be at least 1 minute and not more than 30 minutes.

All submissions must be packaged in MP4, MOV, etc., with a resolution of 1080p or higher, a frame rate of 25 frames or higher, complete subtitles or external subtitles; no watermarks should be added; no commercial advertisements should be inserted; and if there are any interludes, they should be accompanied by Chinese subtitles.
