Panda Kingdom is a documentary about the growth and return of Chinese giant panda, it features Xiuqiu, the first wild panda cub introduced into China, telling the story of Xiuqiu, accompanied by its mother, Awa, returns to the wild through challenges with the panda family and finally back to the nature. The film will take the global audience into southwest China, in a majestic mountainous region, where nature is the ruler, and here is also home to species of rare animals, plants and microorganisms. For hundreds of millions of years, they live in an endless cycle of self-reproduction and replacement, this is the giant panda kingdom that Xiuqiu will return. The main character Xiuqiu and her family shoulder the mission of reviving and optimizing the genes of the wild population.
