The Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival (BIFF) is an annual theme festival for small-to-medium budget films in the world, which is approved by the relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and holds three registered trademarks of the Intellectual Property Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival aims to promote the internationalization of China's small and medium-budget films, and is committed to global filmmakers' exchanges and cooperation, learning and progress, resource integration, and help more film practitioners blossom into a distinctive flower; the organizing committee of the festival will hire authoritative experts in the film industry to form a jury, which will be a professional, fair and just selection and award forms, to give recognition to the outstanding performance of filmmakers to improve the appreciation of the audience.

Selection

The Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival offers a short film section, an opera film section, and a main competition section for Chinese films in Mandarin and foreign languages, with a length of 60 minutes or more for feature films and 45 minutes or less for short films (short films include commercials, music videos, and microfilms), and with unlimited subject matter.

Application materials required: All participating film crews must provide the organizing committee with an application form, a complete film, trailers, posters, stills, a description of the film in Chinese, a director's introduction, a list of screenwriters and cast members, and save them on Baidu.com, then send the link to Baidu.com and the extraction code to the designated email address of the organizing committee of the film festival.
